Eldon 3rd Annual Lighted Christmas Parade & Tree Lighting Ceremony

Holiday magic comes alive in Eldon for the 3rd Annual Lighted Christmas Parade & Tree Lighting Ceremony Dec. 14.

The parade kicks off the evening’s holiday festivities but much more is in store at Rock Island Park following the parade. Watch the splendor unfold with the lighting of the Magic Tree, listen to the Eldon High School choir perform the sounds of the season as you enjoy hot chocolate and s’mores and visit with Santa before you take a stroll to see the Christmas trees decorated by community businesses, organizations and individual sponsors.

Come early and shop the Christmas Market at Warehouse 55 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. and visit with Santa at the Eldon Community Center from 2:30-4 p.m.

Randles Christmas Tree Lot

Enjoy a winter wonderland experience and make Christmas memories to last a lifetime! Sip a cup of hot cocoa around the campfire, make s’mores, visit with Santa, enjoy carolers performing the sounds of the season, and choose your Christmas tree from among beautiful, fresh-cut pine, spruce and fir trees of varying sizes.

Open daily November 29 – December 24, 2019.

Leadership Miller County
Leadership Miller County is an approach to community leadership intended to enhance the social and economic well-being of Miller County by developing an active group of effective leaders. Participants are provided with opportunities to enhance their leadership skills, and familiarize themselves with the opportunities, needs and resources that exist in Miller County.

Seven day-long sessions will be held beginning in January 2020 and ending in June 2020. To graduate, attendance is required for the January orientation session and at least five of the six remaining sessions. With the exception of February, sessions will be held on the third Thursday of the month from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Graduation will be held Thursday evening June 4, 2020.  All applications must be received by January 13, 2020.

Eldon Turkey Festival

There’s something for everyone at the 35th Annual Eldon Turkey Festival! Shop till you drop as you stroll through vendor-lined downtown streets featuring homemade crafts, décor, jewelry and clothing. Sample delicious fare (make sure to enjoy one of our famous smoked turkey legs before you leave). Listen to live music and enjoy performances at two entertainment stages. Enjoy the parade, beer garden, Food Truck Village, children’s carnival, bounce houses and other activities. You can’t help but enjoy yourself at the Eldon Turkey Festival! You AND your kids will be entertained!
